Biocube Standard Lights and SPS
Thinking of setting up my 14g biocube and using the stock 20k plus actinics. How limiting are these when it comes to SPS and other corals?
Thanks |

Unless it has a MH or LEDs then it wont keep sps alive. The stock PC lights will only work with lps and softies.

Thanks allsps40. I suspected as much but wanted to verify. Setting up tank now and trying to find the best light to fit the 14g biocube. Any ideas on LEDs? |

Depending on your price range on which LED's. For my JBJ 28, they make a JBJ LED hood for purchase, do oceanic have the same type of setup for sale?

Saw one on a Elos Mini and all the sps looked outstanding compared to the AI Nano that was on it before.
