Thinking of running an O3 generator

I am thinking of running an O3 generator on my 400 gallon natural sun-lit reef. I have a My Reef Creations MR-6R Recirculating Protein Skimmer and its plumbed inline, the waste cup drains directly into my homes sewer line. I hear that carbon should be used on the output, would I still need to since the air and the waste from the skimmer goes directly into the sewer line? How much O3 will enter the sump from the skimmers return
