pH spiking to 18.2 with Apex lite

Can someone help me with my Neptune apex lite and lab grade pH probe? Every other day my lab grade pH spikes to 18.2 at 6:30am and temp spiking to 181.3 at 4:30pm(after I installed my ph probe). I called Neptune and they said it might be something in my house with high wattage making it spike. Is anyone else having this problem?

What time do nearby electrical things come on? Tank lights and such?

The only thing that might come on is my heater at 6:30am. Everything else in the room is off until 11:45am.

Hmm, I have no idea what might do that. How far apart are the two probes?

Try setting the heater to another time and see what happens.

If it were me I'd want to try it out with another unit and see if the problem reproduces.
