Help with a new (used) MH Light - so much salt!

Ok, so I got myself a hand-me down MH light that I am trying to clean up and get in working order. Problem is there is SO MUCH SALT on it.

Most of the external salt is coming off easy enough, the problem is a LOT of salt has somehow made it into the chamber where the fluorescent lights are. As a result, the plexiglass that slides out to access the bulbs is soundly stuck in place. And I mean it is STUCK.

I have disassembled the housing, but the place where the plexglass slides in/out is a solid piece. I tried using a rubber mallet on the edge to push the plexiglass out, and that was working ok, until the edge cracked.

As a last resort, I can probably go to the hardware store and buy a 4' sheet of plexiglass and cut new, but that is if nothing else works.

Has anybody else experienced this ? is it common ? was this light just neglected for way too long ?

Also, the guy who gave me the light forgot the power adapters for the LEDs. As you can see in the pictures, there are 18 leds (9 blue and 9 white). He said he has the adapters, but has to find them. I'm preparing for the worst case (having to replace them). The light says "Current" on the sides, but the light is apparently pretty old, and I can't seem to find this model anywhere online.

Anybody have any idea where I can get replacement power adapters for this thing ?

Thanks!

Get a new price of Plexiglas and clean the slots. As far as the LEDs, its beyond my scope of practice. Contact Current USA and see if they could point you in the right direction as far as a replacement or to see how much volts the less require and get a different power supply and splice it into the LED power suppling wires.
