My new light fixture
So I would like to get myself a nice but affordable light fixture for my new 40 breeder.
I am not sure the difference between LED and T5 in terms of prices and LED strength but I read it's far more expensive. I love the moonlight color some people have which id loce to have. I also want lights that can get the true color of the corals out, it seems actinic is for this purpose? What lights can I get that aren't $150 |

Lighting is expensive your best bet is to find something used and maybe you will find something under 150

Yes, that is about the only way you're going to get decent lighting under $200. Best of luck to ya.

You get what you pay for. If you buy cheap lights , you'll be buying better ones shortly afterwards.

For a 40 breeder.. Is 4 bulbs enough? Heard 6 can burn my corals I plan to get many diff types of corals like sps this time around.
Also, what do they come with that costs 200? Any recommendations I can look for? |
