Ok to combine 2 heaters with different wattages?
Hi, I have a 92 gallon tank with a 20 gallon sump (aqueon proflex model 3) and I'm guessing I'll need around 500 watts to heat the tank. In the winter my house is usually cold (mid 60s) and I want to keep the tank at 78. Is it ok to combine a 200 and 300 watt heater? I was looking at the via aqua titanium heaters. I heard its safer to have 2 heaters instead of one.

Yes, it's generally considered safer to use 2 heaters, in case one stops working or "sticks" on, plus the water will be a more even temperature if the heaters are in separate locations.

Yes: no problem having multiple heaters of different types and sizes.
