Sand in Solana Cube
In a 34G Solana Cube, Dimensions: 20" x 20" x 20", I was curious how much sand to add. All the charts I could find is for regular length tanks. Some posts on Solana Cubes mention a bag of sand but that can be 20 or 40 lbs.
Im looking to add a Goby to the tank. Thanks for the help. |

I think a 40 would do, you may not use it all but better to have too much than not enough.

The forumla for how much sand is:
Tank Length x Tank Width x Thickness of sand desired/20= Lbs of sand needed. So for your tank if you wanted a 1" layer of sand 20 x 20 x 1 / 20 = 20 pounds of sand |
