DIY Frag Box

So here's the thing. You are at your favorite reef club, with your 5 gallon buckets filled with a couple inches of water to keep your frags in. And then you say" There has got to be a better way!" (Infomercial Reference).

There is with the DIY Frag Box. You probably will be able to make it without leaving your house. It is dirt cheap, simple, and keeps your frags organized.

You need eggcrate, PVC, and a box. I used a Sterilite Show Offs Box.

Cut the eggcrate to fit inside the box

Then I cut some little pieces of PVC out.

Put the PVC in the box like so.

And then put the eggcrate on top of the pvc.

That is how I did it. The tension is in the eggcrate. The PVC is merely a spacer so the egg crate doesn't get pushed down.

The Variation:
The other way to do it is a little different. PVC is drilled and then the eggcrate is zip-tied to the PVC. The PVC acts like legs.

Just used it. Make sure you carry it from the bottom too.
