How to choose a dimmable LED current driver...

Hey all,

I would like to hook up a dimmable current driver to my Ecoray 60D LED lights. How do I choose the right driver and what product specs do I need to make this decision? Thanks

"One of these fixtures will draw 62 watts of power at .6 amps."

It sounds like they are using 30 1 watt blues and 30 1 watt whites. If those specs are accurate you would want about a 600mA 30 watt dimable driver that can put out a little over 50 volts. Groupbuyled has 40 watt, 700mA, 54 volt dimable invetronics drivers, you would need one of them per 30 LEDs you want to dim, So you could have all the blues on one and all the whites on the other, just dont turn them all the way to 100% or you might overheat the LEDs and burn them out. Unfortunately I cant link to groupbuyled on this forum.

There is also this option from rapidled, they are 25 watt, 700mA, 36 volt dimable drivers. They dont look powerful enough to drive 30 LEDs, but they could easily drive 20 each. So you would have to buy 3 of them and put 20 blues on one driver, 20 whites on another driver and then put 10 whites and 10 blues on the 3rd driver, same warning applies, dont turn them to 100% or you might cook them, about 85% is max either way: http://www.rapidled.com/0-10v-dimmab...potentiometer/
