how many leds unit do i need for this tank.
hi guys i am thinking to get leds light for my new tank is 40inch long 32inch wide 28 inch deep. i like the radions but the price it see little pricey also thinking about to get the kessil a350. so my question how many radion fixture for my tank and how many kessil a350 do i need help please thanks

If you want to have SPS in a small area of the tank, two would be enough, if you wish to have them over more of the tank, try 4. 40x32x28 is asking a lot of either the Radion or the Kessil, unless you aren't looking to fill the tank with SPS. Look at the spread for the Radion on Sanjay's site and it will become more clear.

I think three radions would work for sps IMHO. You have two thing that cause you to need three. Radions perform well to 24-25 inches, and you have 28. Also, your tank is 32inches is tough to cover for the radions and you will have shadowing in the back or the tank, but if you plan right, should not matter that much. I have 5 radions on my 96"x 24tallx30deep and it works really well.
