Best light for 40g reef tank? LED and T5 suggestions
I am looking for the best light for a soft coral tank. Looking for some expert advice on what to pick for the best light at a good price?

For soft corals a 4x39w T5 fixture would be fine.

I have a 40 gallon cube- 24x18x21 and i have 1 ecoray 60dx LED fixture. It has a dimmable feature that you can control. Light spread is around 20X15. PAR is great on it.

I'm building a 24LED hanging light for my 40g breeder. There are 12 3w LEDs and 12 5w. Cost me $150 since I already had some aluminum for a heat sink. DIY saves a lot of money.
