FedEx lost fish-Found, now dying
So yesterday I was supposed to get my delivery of 2 fish and it didn't show up. Making a long story short, a neighbor brought the package over in the evening. I thought the fish seemed all right, but now they are lying on their sides in quarantine, gasping like crazy. No ammonia, or nitrites detected. I put in some amquel just in case, though. I'm running an airstone right next to them, but hasn't seemed to help.
Is there anything else I can do to try and save them?

Good vendors normally use enough water so the fish can survive a few extra hours. Did you set your qt water to the same salinity as the water in the shipping bag? You dont want to be acclimating up in salinity more than a point or two.
I would leave the fish in the qt, dim the lights in the room, and give the fish time to bounce back with no further stress. What fish and what vendor?

If the fish seemed all right when they were in the bag, and when acclimating, then I would be worried that something might be Awry in your QT tank. Can you do a massive water change in the QT and then re-acclimate them to the new QT water ?
