Cube style sumps?

I was wondering if anyone has made cube style sumps? I might be building a tank stand instead of using the one I have and if I do build one I will not be able to get a big sump in it, maybe 10g tops, so I was thinking since it will be a square style stand that maybe I can do a cube style sump so I can have what I would like in the sump/fuge with the space.

So if it is and anyone has any pictures please post them!!

I used a 42L cube container from OSH as a sump for my 60g tank. I was originally going to build a glass cube sump so it wasn't to tall yet it fulfilled my needs size wise, but the price of building a tank that small doesn't weigh out well.

The container I bought instead only costed 15 dollars or so and fits perfect under my stand (they have various sizes).

I will try to post pictures of the sump If I remember when I get home today.

Those are nice! I'm in the same predicament myself. Nothing fits under my stand and it annoys the hell ou tof me that I can't find something that works.

Even that one is too tall.

I had a similar conundrum with my 150DD. You can't fit a 40g breeder under it with the OEM stand and the square footprint makes choosing an off the shelf sump a little futile. What I did was take my Proflex model 2 sump I had used on my 75g and drilled a hole in the side and attached a frag tank by way of uniseal. This also solved the problem of actually getting the things under the stand because no matter what you use you still have to get it under the stand to begin with and having my sump/fuge separate smaller units attached with a uniseal they each get in without clearance problems.
