Got this from a friend I think he said its a finger coral but I looked them up and they don't look the same what do you guys think

My guess would be a Devil's hand(which is a type of finger coral) but I'm still pretty new to this coral stuff.

It looks just like devils hand to me. Do you mean a stony bottom as in it's attached to the substrate and has rubble at the base, or like it has a skeleton right underneath all of the tissue? If so, possibly a blue ridge coral?

its a devils hand leather .. they need light and med flow .. on the bottom it would not be that happy .. unless you have a powerful light
