Egg crate seperator...
I am doing some work on my tank and was attempting to use a piece of egg crate as a tank divider to help me isolate a couple fish for capture. The problem is that the holes in the egg crate are too big and the goby swims right thru. I was wondering if I could use mosquito netting attached to the egg crate to get the job done?
My primary concern is with the safety of using mosquito netting since it will be in the water for at least several minutes if not an hour or more and it will likely come in contact with the fish. Any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance for any input.

Assuming the netting is clean I don't see a problem with the netting. I am unaware of them being treated with any type of biocide.
