Stocking question
Howdy! I'm brand new to sw and am currently in the research phase. I have the tank (29 gal), T5 lights on order, my powerhead on order (Korali? I'd have to double check my email for brand) and am going to order "the package" from TBS for rock, sand, and cuc. I'm planning on buying sw from a lfs near my house to start with (I'd like to start mixing my own at some point) I "may" do a few corals down the road, and am now planning on what type of fish I'd like to keep. I'd like to do a pair of tank bred percula clownfish and possibly a six line wrasse later on down the road.... would that be too many fish for my tank?

I would shy away from the six line, they can be very aggressive especially in a small tank. Have you thought about a goby/shrimp pair?

I had actually thought about a goby, I think they're awfully cute

I just spend the better part of a whole day removing a six line wrasse from my 90 gallon tank and returning him to the fish store.

A blue/green Chromis or 2 would be good. Also a firefish would do good in that size tank. Both are beautiful fish and fairly inexpensive

I have a 29 gal biocube, and currently have a pair of ocellaris clowns, a bangaii cardinal, tangaroa goby and a neon blue goby. It's a good mix of fish and I like the diversity.
I love the personality of the clowns (I had a mated pair in my previous 29 gal tank several years ago)... they are one of my favorite fish! In that tank I also had a midas blenny that I loved. Other good fish to go with your clowns would be a firefish, a cherub or African flameback pygmy angel, or royal gramma.

Also in a new setup you dont want a full CUC. just start with a few and work up as needed. Not enough food for them.

Bangaii cardinals are peaceful and quite attractive.
