Tank on laminate flooring
I am planning on putting my tank in my office/mancave that I have yet to finish setting up since I bought the house. I installed laminate flooring 2 years or so ago.
I am thinking I may try to create an easy way to do waterchanges with a pump or something to try to reduce spills and use a shammy of some sort to clean any everyday spills quickly. My only real concern is the long term damage to the subfloor. Any thoughts on the subject? Advice or personal horror storeis? I have plently of replacement board since I bought more than enough on purpose when I installed the floor in case anything ever happened. How about sealing the inside of my DIY stand really well with a shammy or town stored inside to collect water with ringing out/cleaning to take care of small everyday spills? What about some waterproof container around the sump to catch overflow with a shammy in it? |
