Need lighting advice, T5HO on top of glass canopies?

Guys, I got a lighting question. I'm thinking about picking up a 4 bulb T5HO fixture to lay over my glass canopies (currently have 4x PC lights over canopies).

Would this be too much light for my corals and fish? I know its optimal to hang it a foot above, but I'd rather not deal with hanging it.

Just got some torches, frogspawn, orange bam bam zoas, and some blue zoas. I have some brown palyps and red mushrooms as well.

Please let me know if this will be ok!

Thank you all!

from what I understand, t5HO lights are more penetrating than PC bulbs...they may very well have to be raised.
