Tunze NanoStream 6015 on 3/4" glass?
Hey RC'ers,
I've read good reviews on the 6015 by Tunze, and since they're relatively cheap, I'd like to get a couple to get rid of some dead spots in my cube. Max glass thickness stated by Tunze on the magnets is 10mm. With a stronger outside magnet, is it possible to have these fit on 19mm thickness? I have some strong mags from an oldschool maxijet mod collecting dust... Feedback would be much appreciated.

Hi Alan,
You can definitely experiment with whatever magnets you have lying around. With the cost of rare earth magnets these days, it's a shame to see any collecting dust! If you can't get it to work, then you can use our Magnet Extension 6025.5. You'd use this to replace both magnets on the 6015 and it would then work on 3/4" glass. |

Awesome, thank you for the quick response. Very helpful. I'll see what my rare earth mags can do, if no luck, I'll go with the upgrade you've referred me to. Thanks!
