Connecting 2 BRS reactors?

I want to be able to run 2 of these through one MJ1200. I was looking at the BRS website and found a "Mur-lok RO Tee Union Push Connect"
http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/bulk-r...h-connect.html

Is that what I would need to split the flow from the pump to both reactors? If so, what size do I need, the 1⁄4" x 1⁄4" x 1⁄4" Tee Union or the 3⁄8" x 3⁄8" x 3⁄8" Tee Union? I have no idea what size the is. The details on the reactor says: " 1/2" fittings and ports throughout reduce head pressure and provide ample flow rates"

I have those reactors. MJ1200 is barely enough to run one of them. I would not in all honesty recommend adding more load to such a small pump.

But to answer your question, you will need 1/2'' T-fittings (or better yet Y-fittings) as this is what's in fact used on BRS reactors. Not sure why BSR doesn't have them for sale.
BSR currently used this straight fitting to connect MJ1200 to the pipe leading to the reactor, it's a 1/2'' fitting:

Ideally, you'd want to find a Y-fitting instead of T-fitting to improve head pressure:

I have the mj1200 running a TLF 500 and I have to dial it way back, hence why I though this same pump could be enought for 2 BRS reactors.

It's weird that BRS doesn't sell these kind of fittings. I wonder what other store might carry them. Going to start looking it up.

I suppose it depends on the reactor and the media.
I run GFO and Carbon in my reactors. The media is placed in between two sponges and then two filters with very tiny holes. The pump needs to push water through two filters, two sponges and at least a cup of very fine media. Those get clogged very easily so that after two or three days I find it that my MJ1200 can no longer push water through, so I have to take the reactor apart, clean filters and sponges, rinse, repeat.

BRS does sell the "Y" push connect fittings.. But MJ1200 will NOT run 2 reactors.. Wouldnt even run the dual reactor. Mag 5 works great.

I can't seem to find the "Y" fitting. The only size I find is the 1/4" but not the 1/2"

I think I'm just going to run each reactor with it's own mj1200 each. I'm not sure if a mag 5 might fit in the back middle chamber of a solana tank.

I use two BRS reactor's, and I run an MJ400 on my GAC and an MJ600 on my GFO. That way I don't have to use the ball valve to throttle down the MJ1200's.
