Which T5 fixture?

Which T5 fixture would you recommend for:

48x28x20 rimless
Mixed reef, more sps than lps

Which do you recommend:
ATI
Tek 6 bulb
AquaticLife 8 bulb

8x54 TEK elite! It's half the price of a 10x54 ATI power module.
I have a ATI Sunpower myself.

It's a standard 125? How high of the surface water you have it? My Sunpower will arrive on Tuesday. Any pic.

Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for all the feedback. So which ati, the dimmable or power module? And what number of bulbs would you recommend for my setup?

ATI! Cant go wrong with them. I have the 6x54w dimmable Sunpower on my 75. I've used Aquaticlife in the past, but there is no comparison. ATI is top of the line.

ATI, both are great fixtures. I have used the Sunpower and can tell you it's excellent. I'm using the Tek Elite now and give it high marks as well.

That's good you like your TEK elite. My friend has the old TEK and it's great, from most people's experiences with them they are about the same output as an ATI fixture if you put a small fan on them with no splash shield. I was doing some research and I guess the new TEK elite is having fan problems but sunlight supply is sending replacement fans and other freebies to people who are experiencing these problems. Good luck.

I really do love my ATI Sunpower but I want to get a TEK for my other tank.
The TEK lights are a bit wider than the ATI fixtures. The 8 bulb TEK elite is 2" less wide then the 10 bulb ATI power module. The bulbs are closer together on the ATI, which was part of my decision over the width/height of your tank.
Anyway you can't go wrong with an ATI but you could do almost as good for alot less $$$, that doesn't matter to some people though.
Have fun Reefing
