Light/Ballast Fell Submerged in seawater- how to clean for safe operation?
I knocked a small 40w current usa light with built in ballast into a 29 gallon (saltwater of course). The light was off but plugged in, and severe arcing occurred at the switch, for about 10 seconds until I was able to cut power and pull the unit out (luckily my hand was not in the water, and ashame it was not installed on a GFCI outlet). How should I go about cleaning the unit up for safe operation?
Tanks for any tips!
