mechanical filter sump
Hi all,
I'm just informing about mechanical filtration in Sump. I have acrylic sock holder mount with 2 socks 250 micron, but 250 it's too much Maybe is it better 100 or 150? Any suggestion? Thx Tony |

250 micron is not enough to hold on sediments

The smaller the number the smaller the sediments it can trap.

BRS seems to only sell 100 micron. Works for me.
Depending on how often you change the sock, you can go down to 50 or even 25. |
