Sprung a leak!!
I purchased a used 180 Tall, Starfire glass about a year ago. The stand is overkill solid and while we were away over Labor Day the tank sprung a leak about half way down on a seam. I was able to move most of my corals and all but one fish to my 90 and 55 so it was not a devastating loss.
Can it be repaired? Who would do such a repair and what is an approximate cost? Thanks for any help.

It can be repaired. To do it correctly, the tank will have to be completely disassembled, all glass cleaned of ALL silicone residue, and then the tank will have to be reassembled. It is not an easy job, and if done wrong, you will right back where you are now, or worse. I would probably just go buy a new tank, but I like to sleep at night.
