I ordered the BRS 5 Stage Plus and it should arrive tomorrow. I have no firsthand experience with RO/DI to draw from though. I read a bunch of reviews, watched some videos and then picked it out last week when it was on sale.

Yeah baby it is awesome. Connects up to the sink right out of the box. I just bought a booster pump for it, can't wait to hook that up to it.

out of those two, I would get the BRS one. Their customer service is great.

My BRS 5 Stage PLUS showed up today... i also bought it on sale last week for $20 cheaper than current price. Great deal, it comes with everything I needed. Havent hooked it up yet though, just unboxed it minutes ago.
So excited to have a handle on clean water finally! |

Of the 2, BRS hands down. That ebay one, like most on ebay that people grab just for price, is garbage. God knows what sediment and carbon blocks they use and their capacity, they could be exhausted after a couple hundred gallons. The horizontal DI on top is far from ideal as well.
I would consider other RC sponsors as well. Spectrapure is good, but can be on the expensive side for somethings. My current fav is Buckeye Field Supply, Russ there is very helpful. Prices are pretty competetive for the sponsors here, quality is similar.

I love my brs 5 stage chloramines plus system. The gauges and tds meters are a must, as well as getting the flush kit installed so your membrane last for a long time
