120g mixed reef stocking...
I'm doing a partial restart on my 120 gal mixed reef. Currently I have a pair of black ocellaris clowns and a scooter blenny in QT that will be going back into the DT in about another 6 weeks. I'm now starting to research and plan out the rest of the occupants. Here are the fish I'm looking at.
Exquisite Fairy Wrasse Girdled Fairy Wrasse Mimic Lemon Peel Tang Firefish, Purple (pair) I'm really not sure of the order in which to add these. I believe that all of these are going to be compatible in a mixed reef tank. I'm most concerned about the two different wrasses as I had a six line in the past that bullied another wrasse to death in a matter of a couple weeks. He is no longer in the tank so will not be an issue going forward. Any feedback and/or suggestions are most appreciated.

I'd add the most aggressive/territorial fish last- I don't know which among those qualifies, perhaps the clowns last? And perhaps no wrasses?

I would consider a tang or two more that is on your with list so you can add them all at once. If this is not possible then get them as juvenile's so that they can hide easier and the larger tang get used to them.
Good Luck! |
