Grounding HQI fixture

I have a light fixture with dual HQI 250w sockets. The HQI sockets have one wire coming out of each end.

1. Does it matter which one you connect the black or white wire to?
2. Do I just need to connect the ground wires from the ballast to the fixture itself (since there is no ground wire coming from the fixture itself)?

Thanks.

Correct. It doesnt matter which one you connect the black and whites to. Just connect the ground to the body of the fixture itself.
