Help with noisy tank
Hello...We just bought our first tank, a Red Sea 34 gallon and set it up last night. After filling the tank with water and turning it on the skimmer made a lot of noise. Is it possible to run the skimmer only at night, or is there another way to lessen the noise. We only have water in the tank now. Thanks.

From what I have read online, the pumps inside may not be tightly assembled. You may want to take apart the filtration system and put it back together. Making sure everything is tight inside.

Which leads to a great question, does it sound like pump shake and rattle? Or is it the bubbling of the water that is too noisy?
