Simple countertop tank setup?
I want to get a tank to go on top of my kitchen counter but don't want the extra plumbing and sump stuff. What kind of options do I have for filtration? I've heard of piggyback kind of filters but don't know anything about them. The style I am after is like a modern rimless look, and for size, between 20 and 50g.
This one is all self-contained, right? http://www.petsolutions.com/C/Full-A...n=shopping.com |

The jbj is self contained. All you would need is light. It comes with a media basket abd has room for a skimmer in the back if you decide to go with one.

only advice i can give u for such units are:
1. temp control 2. keep up with evaporation temp will swing largely and so will salinity if not kept with on daily basis.

The all-in-ones (check out our sponsors) are good for a couple of gobies and some hermits and hardy zoas and mushrooms: it can make quite a nice-looking display of the smallest fish, who get quite cheeky when there are no big ones around to scare them into holes.
