New and Question

I've just acquired a 90 gallon bowed tank. it's been running for about 10 years and the person I got it from kind of let it go. I've got a wet/dry filter down below...no balls or skimmer. Have a ton of hard corral, Royal Gramma, Tang(Orange something or other), Clown, Cardinal, Sea Cucumber, Brittle Star and a bunch of crabs and snails. i have a ton of Chaeto in the tank that my tang is loving. However, it's all over the the corral and hammer corral. Should I pull it all out?

I've had the tank for 3 weeks now and am having a blast with it. Just want to make sure that algae doesn't take over and hurt the corral. Thanks in advance for the help!!

welcome to RC and hobby, i would take at least the chaeto covering the corals off and move it down to sump. eventually it will hurt the corals if not addressed.

Thank you! When you say sump, do you mean the area of the filter where the pump is?

The sump is usually the tank underneath your display tank. Most people store them in the stand that holds there tank.
