Algae On Egg Crate

Hi Everyone,

I have a frag tank system with black egg crate, I noticed under the metal halide side I have a lot of brown algae and some green algae growing on the egg crate. There is also a good amount of coraline growing under all the algae.

I have a few dozen snails they try however they don't like staying on the egg crate and spend their time on the bottom or on the rocks.

I reduced my photo period hoping to cut down on it but it does not seem to help any suggestions what may eat it? the tank is a 75 gallon. 48x30x16.

PO4 is zero.

Thanks
-Devin
