Any SeaSwirl users on rimless tanks?

I know, a bit of an odd request, but my new aquarium is rimless and I am still interested in sticking a SeaSwirl on it. I used the search trying to find photos of others with this combo, but didn't have much luck (found tons of current and past FS threads instead).

Instead of telling me that my idea is silly, and I'll "ruin" the effect of my rimless tank, please share some photos with me if you've got them. As it is, I will already have my Tunze power cords coming over the back. If I employ the SeaSwirl, it may be a great way to kind of hide/mask where those power cords are routed

Thanks for the link, but I have already seen them on standard tanks with trim (including in person, but it's been a couple years). Still hoping to maybe see that this has been done before - it's always nice to have an idea of what something will look like, before you pull the trigger.

I kinda of wondered if you could make a false back out of smoked or white glass to block the view of the sea swirls and still give it a modern look.

Or a long acrylic box that would hide the sea-swirls. Would also hide the tunze cables

I'm applying black vinyl to back of the rear pane, which should obscure my equipment quite well. Everything going in is all black - the Tunze Wavebox and Stream pumps, as well as my overflow (skinned in black ABS). The Sea Swirl would be the only thing to actually sit atop the glass, but I still feel that the pros still outweigh the cons - I don't think that it will irk me for it to sit on/over the back pane, and the in-tank portion won't be intrusive at all.

My take on the sea swirl is go for it. Don't think you notice it much with the back all blacked out
