Glass Thickness on 165 Gallon

The tank I am planning on getting is a Great Lakes Aquarium 165 gallon 72Lx24Dx22H and uses 3/8ths inch glass. It does have 2 overhead braces and the bottom glass is tempered and also has glass bars reinforcing the bottom of the tank for extra support.

The glass chart I was looking at calls for between 3/8th and 1/2" but probably does not take into consideration the braces or the bottom glass bars.

Do any of you have these tanks and is this glass thickness the proper thickness for this size tank?
