Question on my two sponges and feeding habits

Good morning!

I have a quick question on my two sponges in my 125 Gallon tank...I have 2 sponges I added about 1 month ago (both added the same day)...a White Lightning Sponge about 6" tall and a Bali Blue Sea Fan about the same size. They are placed next to each other about 6 inches apart...

I have regular feedings of in my tank of trace elements, marine snow, phytoplankton and other stuff as directed by the product...

My question is that I see that the Bali polyps open every day and look healthy. The WL Sponge polyps opened daily for the first few days, but now only seems to open every 4-5 days despite target feedings for all my live inhabitants.

I have tried searching the forum and used Google for other sites, I was just wondering if this polyp behavior is normal for the WL, or could I be doing something wrong...I'm looking at it right now and all of it's polyps are out and it seems very happy just like it's Bali neighbor....

Thanks in advance for any help! Here is a pic of both when I first put them in the tank....

Chemical warfare? Is someone bothering it? Maybe try feeding something else? Are they both warm water sponges?

Thats the only bad thing about this hobby... its hard to tell even if you are a pro.

One is a sea fan, the other a sponge.

the red/white one sorta looks like one of those Dendrobyte or Non-Photosynthetic corals or whatever (pardon the spelling)
