placing toadstool leather corals

I got 3 toadstool leather corals 2 days back. They are on the sand bed now. Not attached to anything.
Should I leave them just like that? Or should I add some pieces of rock to the bottom and around it and try to get it attached to one?

Should this coral be placed at the bottom or at a higher level?

Mine is just in my sandbed, he is probably 3" tall and 3" diameter.

Is it attached to something under the sandbed or just buried in the sandbed?

If you take two pieces of rubble rock and tie them lightly with the toadstool's stem between them, and, leave it alone for a month or so, it should attach to the rocks which can then be glued whereever you want them.

Thanks. I'll try that.
