Lighting schedule

So I'm on week 4 of my new tank and wondering what light schedule should I be running. I was running 12 hours a day, the first two hours ran just my 36 watt actinic then turning on (along with actinic) 36 watt 10,000K white light for eight hours, and then closing it out with two hours of just the actinic. I think that might have been fueling a hair algae issue I had...since fixed the issue. I recently started running 5 hours a day with 1 hour before and 1 hour after actinic and would like to run a little longer...any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!
