Here's the information you will need. We added a matted file fish but without knowing your tank size I can't say if it's the orrect path for you. Anyway check out this link.

I'm not so sure about aiptasia, but another pic might help. Usually the tentacles on aiptasia tend to be thinner with a more uniform thickness from base almost to the tip, and with sharper bends in them rather than flowing curves. You could just have a nicer looking specimen, though.

This is the best I can do....How can I kill the anemone without hurthing my feather duster since the anemone and the duster are sharing the tube

anemone

you can kind of see part of the anemone since most of it is inside the feather duster tube

I say aiptasia too. Looks just like one I had, i used aiptasia-x to kill them. Started with 3, now have 7... as for not harming the feather duster I'm not sure what to do. The aiptasia-x stays Where you put it till it breaksdown, not sure if that or the decaying aiptasia would harm the duster but i have to imagine it would.

It's definitely an Aiptasia anemone. Mix up some Kalk paste, into a toothpaste consistency, and inject it into the mouth of the anemone, carefully, so none gets on the feather duster.

Most certainly aiptasia. A little lemon juice, kalk paste, hot water or liquid calcium has worked for a few folks (or so I have read). I use Aiptasia X and peppermint shrimp
