i did some more research and here is where i am at.
on the red sea alkalinity tester chart i am in the beggining of 1.7 i read that having alk at 8.3-9.3 on kh scale is good. so i got my kh tester and tested my water and it started turning yellow at 8 drops and fully yellow at 9 drops. so 9 times 17.9 is 161.1 which method is best for checking kh at a more stable view. sorry if this is confused im confused myself a little, lol am i doing this right? |

You're talking about two different units. Like meters vs. feet. Go o line and Google alkalinity unit conversion. There are several pages that will help you convert. You have ppm CaCO3 and you want dkH you say.
