Sounds like this sale would prefer to go as one but is open to either way when he breaks it down. What's with all the negative input? Let Chaka respond instead of the comments. Is this what the club has come down to since I've been gone? This is how we show our hospitality to the online community?

That's reefcentral..... Topics always go way off. I'm almost afraid to misspell something and have a whole thread about how a wise man once said if you can't spell you don't want to spell lol. No offense but I don't see this community being active its slowly dying. Either way saltwater is a tiny part of my life one of the smallest things I do or focus on and yet I have been helped a lot here.

plus its just dudes talking, need a bit thicker skin anywhere on the internet, no biggie. So yes mrcyrus it all went to hell since you left. On a serious note. DUDE update your stuff you know im interested in what you got going on now. Mindytoy i appreciate you being active, but its only been a few months lets not get crazy. Keep it up though. Its been an incredible year for the club. even if its slowed a bit its still great compared to where we were so look at it as half full.

ill get on it more if need be but i got no complaints, the last meeting was packed and getting to know the people in this club in real life is a big part of what we do also. Thru facebook or on the cell or other ways even in person i talk to alot of you. it all starts here but doesnt end here. If you get crap give it back, no one here is malicious.

I don't like wasting time on derailling topics. Being thick skinned doesn't mean nit picking school yard b.s. Most people outgrow that. If you want to see my updated tank it will be on austinreefclub where people know how to act right. Maybe you'll learn something from reading on there.

This is why the club numbers will never rise, you make an effort to advertise and then you think it's ok to act like this. You only scare off potential members. You're the face of this club Pedro. I hope reading on ARCs site will give you some outside perspective. Always look at what you write as if a potential member is reading, because they are.

I honestly don't see a big deal...what I do see as a big deal is all that legal constitution about presidents and stuff lol I have met locals and have mentioned reefcentral stars and most have no clue however 3vpeople have told me they don't care much about it because of dif stuff one said its dramatic one said everyone talks down to anyone without the latest equipment he had even said lol that if u don't own 3d glasses for your tank members will say ur cheap. I myself like it its better than not having it

i dont understand how everything everywhere has to be a business... this website is designed for hobbyists... its just for fun and help... if someone doesnt want to join because they cant handle a bit if constructive or even bad criticism, i say too bad... i for sure know that i have been helped a lot here... and if someone says that my tank looks like **** or could be better with a reef octupus rather than a remora, well too bad!!! if i cant afford the reef i will go with what i can afford.... AGAIN ITS A HOBBY..... stop trying to make it a business...

once THAT happens other people WILL join...

Totally agree with this....for example were trashing this guys thread as we speak. It's a hobby ans something we all share the love for saltwater aquariums I have though many times felt that way..... For example the diy LEDs I bought are great I paid $160 for what would have been way over $300. But somehow its the cheap thing to do. See my car or truck and tell me its cheap my car for example has over $12000 on mods or my 3 Yamaha yfzs worth about 15k but diy LEDs and used tanks make me cheap.

Chaka i apologize for you thread now man. Please start a new one if you decide to break down your items.

Mr. cyrus, im really not gonna live my life worrying on how every single person might take what i write, im sorry im in a different place right now. and for the record mindytoy has a long history with this club, and good or bad there is a reason people jump on his stuff. Im just glad he doesnt take it to heart and has started to post again. and part of that i hope was me encouraging him to do so.

i dont control anyone, and i just posted one thing on this thread and didnt post it in a negative way, just letting the people who did know. Dont see why this is such a big deal to you. and i will check out your austinclub website and continue to do all i can for this club. but that doesnt include changing myself completely. and if a potential person doesnt want to join cuz of this or whatever you have done to ruin this thread. then really i dont look forward to adding politically correct people that are just going whine about how guys type in a freaking hobby forum.
