Please review my Sump Design

I posted this in another forum but this is probably more appropriate so I am posting again here...

I am having an acrylic sump built and would like for input on my design. More I have a 34x22" footprint to work with, including my top off water container. My two main questions are related to flow and filter socks.

My plan is for about 75% of the water from the DT to drain into the skimmer section and about 25% to drain into the refugium. Then water from both the skimmer area and the refugium will flow through a bubble trap into the return area. I will also have two reactors in the skimmer area.

Questions are..

1. Is this flow pattern OK?

2. Should I have filter socks in either the skimmer area, refugium or both? (or neither.)

I understand that filter socks are more work but my current sump has a lot of detritus in it and I am thinking the sock will keep a cleaner system.

Thanks for your comments!

Your design looks good, nice flow pattern i would use gate valves here not ball valves. Filter sock in skimmer area nice to have if needed/wanted to use a sock for awhile. I wouldn't add one to refugium area and you may find you want to add more flow to refugium once you tink with your system for awhile.
