all I know is you got to get rid of that quickly or they will overrun your tank. Sorry I don't know how to kill them but someone will chime in that knows. Good Luck. ))

Squirt just a little in the mouth to stop the ph from fluctuating
If you can still get the lemon juice in the mouth without a needle you should be ok |

Turn your pumps off... Let the water settle so your stuff don't go all over the tank. Use Lemon juice or aptasia rx, which I used and had good results. You can use a syringe without a needle. Just like a toddler medicine doser, don't hit it or it will runaway from you then your in trouble. But if you squeeze slowly towards the mouth it may accept it as food and try to ea it which will be its demise. Also consider getting a pep. Shrimp to take care of little ones that may be left behind.

Aptasia rx is cheap and instantly effective. I think it dosnt mess with your ph levels either. It will say on the box. But get it right the first time. If you take the rock out and glue it it may still spread and reproduce new ones. It sucks, but has to be done. I was told its an initiation to the start of real reefing lol. Was scared to crash my system as well. Very easy to do.

look up kalk past with mrs wages pickling lime and make your own aptasia killing white stuff.
I've had the best luck adding the paste, leaving it on for 1 hour and then sucking the paste and the pest out with a turkey baster. |

I have tried joe's juice and boiling water injections and although they got rid of the targeted aiptasia, 5 smaller ones seem to appear after a few days. The only thing that worked for me were berghia nudibranchs, Added 3 in a 150 gallon and they slowly took care of them, so much easier.

Just read a great article by Matthew and Jessica Reed. Not sure if I can mention the magazine here. But, if u google their name. Maybe u will find it. Title of article is "aiptasia prevent defense".
Jack. Did u past the nudibranch on to someone else? |

oh, they're pretty well inevitable, and pep shrimp are the best cure I've found---a little hit and miss---some won't touch them; but the juvvies are best about it.

Sk8r, have u found that pep shrimp will only eat the smaller ones. And can I mention that some are passing camelbacks for peppermints. Just wanted to throw that out there, buyer beware.
