what do you do to introduce mushrooms

I've never had any corals or even mushrooms before besides one frogspawn I had a few years back and was wondering what precautions do you all take before introducing mushrooms into your reef tank?

What do you mean precautions? Do you mean acclimation? I float the bag for 15 min, then mix up some tank water with some Revive and dip it for about 5 min, then place it in the tank on the bottom and then after a few days move it to where I want it. Mushrooms are pretty hardy though.

Dip, drop in tank. Mushrooms can handle most of all tanks. I even had some survive on a clip on desk lamp.

My mushrooms seem to be very hardy as well, I cycled the tank with mushrooms on the rock that was purchased from a local reefer. The mushrooms looked great during the cycle and since then I notice a new one sprouting almost every week. Good luck!
