Correct me if I'm wrong but don't they charge for overweight shipping regardless?

^ no, not lately...
persnally I can't see how they profit from a $39 200G box of IO with free shipping...(I've been combing my salt orders with a can of flake or something with ZERO shipping chgs)

Wow thanks everyone! I always thought they'd charge some insane overweight shipping charge to compensate for how cheap it was. Ordering now!

I'm not sure they sell 200lb boxes. :P
F&S typically do have the best price on IO and RC, and their free shipping rocks. Most LFS around here carry it though and for only a couple dollars more, so I try to support them. F&S does have great CS though.

I received an ad from That Fish Place, they're selling IO for $39.39 for a 200Gal. box. But their minimum order is $99.00. So, unless you want to buy two boxes, plus some extra's, F&S will be your best bet for now.

Drs. Foster and smith wound up being like $45 and threw a few extras in for the $49 free shipping. Great deal.

You should look and see if any of your LFS carry it for a good price. I use ESV salt but I know my LFS sells IO for $35 a 200g box and $43 for reef crystals. Its always good to have a good relationship with your LFS!

LFS in my area are double what online is. Not only that I have to drive to get it which is a 45 mins minimum. I think I'll get it delivered. Dr. Foster and Smith is where I get my salt from. Can't beat free shipping
