half DSB half bare bottom

i had this in another forum, but no response.

hey all im looking for some input on my idea. I want to have a Deep sand bed in my refuge but dont want to sacrifice all of the space. so i put a divider in halfway in the tank (75 gallon). What do you all think. criticism appreciated.

the divider is acrylic siliconed in with a sheet of egg crate glued beside it for more structural support.

I don't see a problem with that set-up.
