ATI bulb combination PAR output compared to leds

I am not sure if haveing between 4-6 ati bulbs ( lots of blue plus's) gives off alot of par at a 21 inch depth like leds do?and how these do supporting sps and acans.

If you have a good fixture like ATI POWERMODULE/SUNPOWER equipped with ATI bulbs, ya it crabs out the PAR if you have your fans set to 9v.

Do a search ..

I can't speak for LED but I can say that I have had both a 4 bulb and 6 bulb ATI Powermodule using Blue Plus with Aquablue Special and there is no SPS that I can't keep.

What does "crabs out the PAR" mean?

Lol gotta love smartphones and new iPads.

Check this out, not at first because he found out his fans where not running at the optimal 9v setting but this will give you an idea and how much ATI's fans help increase PAR and bulb life. Later in the thread there are other t5 par readings from more people.

I have LEDS on half my tank, and a 4x24w Powermodule on the other half. With exception to the shimmer from the LEDs, I cannot tell a difference in appearance or growth yet after 3 months. Both are equally awesome.

Does the fixture help create more par?

The reflectors are excellent and the heat management make the difference.
