A different kind of reef, check it out
This is my 90 gallon venomous reef. I've been intrigued with keeping venomous fish for quite a few years now, but I still love reefing and macro algae tanks so I have combined them all into one :-)
I just figured its something out of the ordinary and some of you might enjoy it. I shoot for a natural looking setup, which this is not where I want it yet but I just keep tweaking it a little at a time and I'm sure (or I hope) I'll be happy with it someday. Don't mind the corals looking like sh!t they have been without the proper light for a few months but I'm getting good lights this week so they should come back ok. I've also got a serious flat worm and starfish problem but all the fish who would eat them for me would be eaten themselves in my tank so I don't know what to do lol. Fish list: Rhinopias frondosa x eschmeyeri hybrid Scorpaenopsis diabolus (devil scorpionfish) Dendrochirus brachypterus (yellow fuzzy lionfish) Dendrochirus biocellatus (Fu man chu lionfish) Dendrochirus zebra (zebra lionfish) Chrysiptera hemicyanea (azure damselfish) Hope you enjoy, feel free to comment or ask any questions http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bX5-S...rWifDQ&index=1 |

Dude he's such a gangster, he's been with them for about two years. When I moved everybody to this tank a few months ago I put him in a few hours before everyone else so he could get his hiding spots down... Such a smart fish. I love damsels and this has been my favorite one so far, I will definitely get azure damsels again

Never under estimate the capabilities of a damsel.

Love all the macro algae! Such a natural looking tank! I used to keep various types of caulerpa in one of my tanks, but then it would always grow out of control.
I also love the Azure! Wife would love for me to get a mated pair of Fijis, but that wouldn't work out so well in my main tank! |

What is that macro algae that is almost like a flat blade of grass, it's best seen behind the yellow dwarf?
Great looking tank. |

I went on a snorkeling trip with a veteren Australian diver once and we were talking about fish in general. He said, "If Damsels were the size of sharks we could never get in the ocean." This thread made me think of that comment.
Great tank also, love the very natural look with it all.

I've seen a domino ( he was big tho) wipe a tank clean that included a panther grouper and Niger trigger. Pits with gills lol. Great tank man.
