Photoperiod questions
Hello,
For two years, I was running 2 x 250 HQI 20Ks on my 140 (48x24x28) mixed reef. As an early Christmas present, I received an new Hamilton Cebu Sun fixture. The fixture has 14K SE 400 watt halides and 4x54 T5s (two 460 and two 420 Hamiltons). I don't want to shock my coral, which is mainly SPS, with the new light. What are your recommendations on the respective photoperiods and do you recommend a transition to longer halide photoperiods as time goes on? Thanks, Rob |
