Getting back in suggestions needed!!!
I have been out of the hobby for a while and I am thinks of getting back in. I am thinking of setting up 30-40 gal cube. I want to keep softies, Lps and maybe an Lbta.
I was looking at deepblue professional tank and some LED lights sump/skimmer etc. Please help me wisely spend my initial $500 investment. Thanks in advance

Welcome back! This hobby is an addictive one What you have mentioned is perfect, but im not too sure it will stay under $500. Have you consider AIO tanks like the nanocubes, biocubes, nuvo's, red rea max, and solanas?

Thanks I know I will not get it all set up with $500 but wanted to get a good start with the right equipment. I saw a used AIO 24gal with led for $375 but I am not sure I want to go that way. On AIO vs a rimless or am I opening a can of worms asking that??? Lol

I like my AIO especially because I never have to run my heater. The tank is self sustaining plus I have hardly any evap at all. Maybe 1 gallon per week max.....I really like it. They are good if you are or a budget or new to the hobby like I am so it works great. But I will definitely be starting 100+ gallon build one of these days.
