Missing wrasse

I have a beautiful six line wrasse, she is usually slower coming out than my other fish, she hides somewhere in the rocks, but not sure where, last night she didn't come out at all, but it was late, so no biggy. Well, this morning, she is still MIA! I have looked as best as I can, moved a few rocks, but no wrasse??? Worried she's my favorite fish.

look in the overflow and around the tank. they are excellent jumpers. should also wanna consider a clear net on top of ur tank. BRS sells it.

did u look in the overflow box itself? also look in the sump might have made it through the drain and into the sump.

Note: they sleep buried in sand and also dive deep in sand and live while spooked.

I don't have a sump yet, and I have crushed coral as my substrate, can she burro in that?

Do you have a dog? I ask because my flame hawkfish went missing and a week later my puppy was running around with something strange in his mouth!

I was going to mention this too. I think a lot of carpet surfers end up in dogs and cats.
