That looks awesome. I would love to come see it in person. I can't beleave your running LED's on such a large tank. I would think with that large of a size tank, you would have run metal halides with some LED's for suppliment. How long have you had that biopellet reactor? I've been considering the same one.

Very nice tank, great rock work ... But IMO it needs sand to look more natural

. pm me I would love to show it off one day. Yeah I like my LEDs I'm building new LED racks to hold (2) 4'x4' 200 LED Fixtures so the tank will be all LED. I have had the bio pellet reactor for about 7 months I like it. I did take some of the pellets out because it stripped my nitrates to 0 and even when I turned down the flow.

Thanks. Yeah really did not want to get rid of the sand but the Dino's looked so bad so I just took it out and I kinda like it because now I know my tank is not holding a bunch of poop lol and I dont have to worry about sand getting stuck in the magnet cleaner and scratching the acrylic. But if I didn't have the Dino problem I would have left the sand in it.

I have had acrylic tanks since 1991...IME , the reason the sand gets stuck in the magnets is because 'someone' has decided to 'help' me and try out the magnets!

I try my best to remove the magnets before anyone comes over, because apparently the magnets 'attract' helpers!

I'll never be a fan of the bare bottom look but that's a nice system. I really love all the open swimming room for the fish.

+1, only thing more 'unnatural' is a sandbed full of frag plugs
